Q. How can I turn my Windows Mobile 5 or 6 device into a Windows SideShow device?

A. Microsoft provides a developer preview of a SideShow application for Windows Mobile. The application runs on your mobile phone and connects to the Sideshow service in Windows Vista via Bluetooth. The application can run all available gadgets.

The download page for the application has installation instructions. Once you’ve installed the application, make sure to pair your phone with your computer via Bluetooth. Launch the SideShow application on your mobile device and connect the device to your computer by clicking the Connect button. The gadgets that you’ve enabled for your device will be available, as shown here.
